We Saw Santa

Last year we went the typical route, we went to a Mall (so to speak) and had pictures taken with Santa. This year we went to the same place, took the picture (of course it was SUPER cute) but didn't buy any. Why? Because they wanted $24 for 1-5x7 and 3-3.5x5's. That's outrageous and it makes me wonder if I spent that much last year because we got a bigger package than that. Maybe I justified it because it was his first Christmas.

This year I wasn't havin' it. So, I asked around if anyone knew of cheaper places and/or free. Someone had told me about the hospital we had PGA at. They were doing Santa pictures in the lobby starting at 9am. We got there around 8:45 so we could hopefully get close to the front of the line. We were 4th or 5th in line and they moved pretty quickly too.

They had Santa's Elves doing a couple activities like face painting and a few magic tricks. They had cookies and milk for you after seeing Santa and even had Mrs. Clause.

Going into this, I figured it would be some bum Santa and someone with a point and shoot camera. Hey, it was free, I don't think that's a totally crazy thought.

Well, I was totally wrong. It was beautiful and much nicer (and cheaper) than the other place we went to. Plus, it wasn't just a picture of PGA, we were all in it. I'm in love.

Needless to say, we'll be going there every year here on out. I love that hospital. (Now if I could just get a job there!)
